A big thank you to all the people that bought copies of Carriacou Sloops. There are 180 sets left of the 1000 printed and have now been re-listed on Amazon. All this interest has led to a documentary now in the making covering similar ground to the books but with a much wider outlook. Schooners and the days of trading in the rest of the islands will also be covered as well as interviews with old sailors, whalermen from Bequia and 2 x prime ministers and of course plenty of fishing and racing in Carriacou!
We are still actively looking for more archival footage from the days when these vessels piled their trade all over Caribbean waters.
